Today as I casually mentioned having fun, while paying my insurance at their downtown location this afternoon, I overheard the mumble of it being expensive to have fun – "it cost money you know!" I couldn’t help but to laugh, and sadly I agreed at the shock of not having any sort of witty understandable comeback.
How do I explain to a non-funner the importance of having fun and feeling good? How do I explain fun is free and just a choice away?
What I really wanted to say was it’s a choice to have fun – a big choice.
Yes, the office might suck – but that doesn’t mean you do. As a human being on planet earth you are able to dream a dream and choose what sort of experience you want to enjoy.
Have you made the choice to have fun?! And further have you made the choice to feel good? How much does it cost you to have fun and feel good? How much are you paying by not making a conscious commitment to having fun and feeling good?
